Recently, I found myself in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The Malagasy people are very friendly and although the Island is just off the South African coast, they are considered French Polynesian. The culture is what you would expect from Polynesia and the food is great, I recommend the Zebu roast with pomme de' terre.
