There are days in the military that I enjoy more than others. This is one of those days. I was fortunate to spend some time with the 1-294th Infantry (L) from Guam Army National Guard, probably some of the most dedicated, fun loving guys ever. 
we were in Djibouti, (a country in Africa), and they were conducting fast rope training, you slide down a rope 70 feet from the ground with no safety nets, the ultimate fun. The crazy guy on the right that is videotaping the event is my friend John Nonog, the idiot photographing people coming out of the CH53, Heavy Marine Helicopter, was me.
